Problem Statement

When disasters strike, response coordination collapses. Victims can't reach help. Volunteers don't know where to go. Emergency services are overwhelmed. Existing platforms rely on internet connectivity and centralized systems that fail precisely when they are needed most—creating a dangerous void in life-critical communication.

No Offline Support

All existing tools required stable internet — unusable during most disasters when networks collapse.

Fragmented Coordination

Victims, volunteers, and responders had no shared platform — critical resources were misallocated.

Slow Response Times

Manual coordination through calls and WhatsApp caused dangerous delays in getting help to the right people.

No Intelligent Matching

No system existed to intelligently match volunteer skills and proximity with the specific needs of victims.

A human-centered design process focused on understanding how people behave under extreme stress, identifying critical failure points in disaster response, and designing systems that work when everything else fails.
